I recently received Givenchy Le Rouge Interdit Cream Velvet Lipstick and Givenchy L’interdit Eau De Parfum Rouge Ultime fragrance free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Overall I found both products to be lovely, even if the lipstick is ultimately not for me.

The liquid lipstick comes in beautiful packaging. Its applicator made it easy to apply with precision, and the texture felt amazingly creamy for something with a matte finish, which I typically associate with dryness. This never felt dry. I received shade N15-Nude Ambre, which I thought was pretty and flattering, but the product unfortunately highlighted every fine line in my lips – I felt like it made me look older. I probably would have loved this in my 20s.

Happily, I really liked the fragrance. When first applied it had a spicy/sweet aroma that made me think of Dior Addict – not exactly the same, but a similar vibe. As it dried down the spiciness went away and a sweet orange blossom and cacao scent lingered all day. It wasn’t overpowering, and the patchouli undertones didn’t bother me. This one is definitely a keeper!
