FOR THE LOVE OF GLOSS

Here’s a neat trick – Daveen Lacquer creates small batch nail polishes that change color depending on the light. Combining a base color with different shimmers, the effect is very cool.

Each bottle of vegan, five free, cruelty free polish features a paddle brush applicator that makes it extremely easy to apply. I swiped on two coats of polish for full shimmer effect, and I will say it took a very long time to fully dry (think at least an hour). However, once dry, this polish has serious staying power.

The shade pictured here is Winter Solstice Mystery #1, which flips between purple and a shimmery metallic orange. This shade isn’t currently available in the Daveen shop, but there is a new mystery shade alongside some other interesting combos, including a metallic pink and cool blue. For all the nail polish junkies out there looking to try something new, I’d say add Daveen to your list!
