I only recently started using serums, having been skeptical about their efficacy and reluctant to add another step to my skincare routine. However, I received a sample of Caudalie Resveratrol Lift Instant Firming Serum last fall and was impressed with how good it made my skin look and feel – it noticeably plumped and firmed my cheeks and the area around my eyes, and my skin felt healthier and more hydrated. However, after several months of use, I noticed some persistent redness across my cheeks, and so when I used up my last bottle of that serum, I decided to try something else.

Enter the Bliss Bright Idea Serum, which I had purchased as part of the Elder Millenial Skincare Kit (I highly recommend – it’s a great value and I’m also really loving the moisturizer). Filled with ingredients that brighten and plump skin, reduce dark spots and boost elasticity, it has a light pleasant citrus scent and feels great on the skin. Like the other serum, it makes my skin feel more hydrated throughout the day. But what really blew me away was how quickly I started seeing results. After just a couple of days of use, my sister stopped me mid-sentence to ask “why does your skin look so good?” A couple weeks later, the redness I had previously been experiencing has gone away and I swear I look more glowy and youthful every day. An inexpensive product that works almost instantly? I’d say that’s worth the extra step in my routine.
