FOR THE LOVE OF GLOSS

I love the fresh start of a new year, and nothing freshens up a look faster than a new lip color. Here are the two that will be in my rotation this month.

NARS Afterglow Moisturizing Lip Balm with Hyaluronic Acid is a great everyday pick. I love a tinted lip balm, and this one is buttery and long lasting, leaving lips feeling soft and hydrated with just a hint of shine. I’m loving the shade Dolce Vita, a dusty rose that looks natural but polished.

If you’re looking for something a little less subtle, Sephora Collection Satin Hydrating Lipstick in Excessively Good is the perfect winter red. I wore it throughout the holidays and will definitely use it to help bust me out of the January doldrums. The lipstick is surprisingly hydrating and extremely long lasting – it didn’t budge through several cups of coffee and a day full of running errands. Color me impressed!
