I’ve been intrigued by the Bliss Triple Oxygen line for as long as I can remember – it just sounds fresh and invigorating – so when I saw the Triple Oxygen Facial in a Box for the extremely reasonable price of $12, I knew I had to try it.

According to the package, this simple little kit contains the same formulas used in Bliss Spas and “allows you to indulge in one of our world-famous spa sessions from the comfort of your home.” A spa-quality facial that I can do in my pajamas? Sign me up! The kit contains supplies for two facials, so I invited my sister to participate in a little at-home spa day with me. Here’s what we found:

This is a three step facial. The first step, Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask, is by far my favorite part of the treatment and one that I will repeat often. You massage the peachy gel onto clean, damp skin, and wait about five minutes while it bubbles up into a full froth. Not only is it cool to watch a clear gel turn into frothy white foam right before your eyes, it feels tingly and amazing. Once it has done its thing, you rinse it off and are left with skin that feels amazingly cool and refreshed. It seriously felt so good. I loved it.

The second step involves the That’s Incredi-‘peel’! glycolic resurfacing pads. Once your skin has dried, you gently swipe the pad across your skin and then wait a few minutes for it to dry. This had a less pleasant tingle and was much more uncomfortable than my usual Alpha Beta peel; I probably wouldn’t buy this particular product again. Still, it left my skin very smooth and completely flake free.

Once the peel has dried, which only takes a couple of minutes, you move on to step three, Triple Oxygen Ex-‘glow’-sion. This vita-bead infused moisture cream is like a breath of fresh air – it feels cool and soothing as you apply it, and it left my skin feeling baby smooth. Even hours later, my complexion was completely moisturized, no dry patches in sight, without even a hint of oiliness. Especially this time of year I find it difficult to find any moisturizer that strikes the right balance of non-greasy moisture, and this product completely wowed me. I’d absolutely recommend it.

Overall, the facial was fast, the directions were easy to follow, and it left my skin feeling smooth and refreshed. The best part? While the kit only contains two peels and two packets of moisture cream, it comes with a mini bottle of the amazing energizing mask, which still has a couple of uses in it! I will definitely be adding the Triple Oxygen line to my regular skincare rotation, and I think this kit is a great buy for anyone looking for a little at-home luxury.
